Marie dealt with a situation that was painfully difficult for our family. We had planned to move to a different city with a different family member but that ended up being a poor fit. So, after that fell through, we decided that we'd go to the Olympia area to be with our younger child. Dear friend and Realtor Evan King recommended Marie as they'd had another client make a good connection with Marie. We searched in autumn and found that looked like an almost ideal situation, but hidden liabilities in the home made us back out. Then my husband got Covid on top of his dementia, and we could not continue the process of looking as he was too frail. Marie kept in touch with a VERY low-key checking in on our well-being, and we developed a better understanding of what would work. In May, my husband died, and I knew that the time was right for a move. Marie immediately began sending listings, and my daughter and I zeroed in on what was critical, what was a no-go, in consultation with Marie. I have struggled with "widow brain," being scattered sometimes, emotionally wrought others and sometimes both and Marie has never been anything but kind and non-judging. My husband had always handled financial transactions, and my daughter had always been a renter, so we were such total novices that Marie had to guide us through the whole process. She was patient and kind, shepherding us through new financial hoops and helping us source support. I am SO GRATEFUL to have been her client, and would absolutely recommend her to others!
